Challenge


Design a suite of visually engaging emails and survey templates for CoLab, a unique research community by Verve aimed at connecting with Gen Z audiences. The key challenge was working within a platform that restricted complex coding, requiring creative solutions to ensure visually appealing and high-performing templates.


Approach


  • Designed bold, Gen Z-friendly email templates that were visually striking yet compatible with the platform’s limitations.

  • Collaborated with Design team members on creating an engaging survey template design and individual question layouts.

  • Optimised for mobile-first reading habits, ensuring a clean, responsive experience across devices.

  • Focused on clear messaging, strategic CTA placements, and accessibility, making the emails and surveys easy to scan and interact with.


Result


  • Created engaging, on-brand emails that worked within the platform’s constraints while maintaining high visual appeal.

  • Achieved strong engagement metrics despite technical limitations, helping CoLab reach and connect with more Gen Z participants.

  • Established a consistent, scalable email style for future CoLab communications.
